M.Tech in CAD/CAM with an intake of 18

 Programme Educational Objectives (PEOs)

Program Educational Objectives are broad statements that describe the career and professional accomplishments that the program is preparing graduates to achieve.

PEO-1: Develop the ability among students to synthesize data, interpret them appropriately, and be able to apply key concepts of CAD/CAM to mechanical system design and manufacturing or to a mechanical subsystem of an interdisciplinary system.

PEO-2: Excel in Professional career and/or scientific research by acquiring knowledge in the fields of Computer Aided Design and Manufacturing.

PEO-3: To enable students for lifelong learning and introduce them to professional ethics and sustainable development and an attitude towards self-employment through entrepreneurship.

 Program Outcomes (POs)

POs are statements that describe what students are expected to know and be able to do upon completion of the program. These relate to the skills, knowledge, attitude and analytical ability and behavior that students acquire through the program.

PO1: An ability to independently carryout research/investigation & development work to solve practical problems.

PO2: Ability to work and present a substantial technical report / document.

PO3: Students should be able to demonstrate a degree of mastery over the area as per the specialization of the program. The mastery should be a level higher than the requirements in the appropriate bachelor program.

PO4: An ability to develop proficiency in using CAD/CAM technologies for modelling, analysing, designing, and manufacturing products.

PO5: An ability to apply advanced skills and knowledge in product design, materials, and manufacturing processes.

PO6: An ability to gain multidisciplinary knowledge to design and develop sustainable and optimized systems.

Program Specific Outcomes (PSO)

PSO: To conduct research individually or teams to generate scientific technological knowledge in CAD/CAM.
