Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering was established in the year 2001 for imparting a state-of the- art and quality education, training and research in the field of Electronics and Communication Engineering and allied areas. The department offers a Bachelor’s program with an initial intake of 60 students in the year 2001, subsequently increased to 300 students per year from the academic year 2015 and Master’s programmes in VLSI System Design and Embedded Systems with an intake of 18 students each.

Well Equipped labs and the infrastructure are regularly upgraded not only to serve the purpose of the curriculum prescribed but also facilitate to carry out innovative projects to challenge the fast-changing needs of the society besides undertaking R&D activities in various fields. We provide a very informal atmosphere between faculty and students. ECE department has always been known for creating an ambience where scholarship flourishes. Faculty members of our department are not only engaged in trending technology research but are also very passionate about teaching and learning process.

Faculty and students of ECE are encouraged to do NPTEL certifications in various subjects and few of them got Top 1%, Top 2% and Top 5% and many got ELITE.
