INFRASTRUCTURE FACILITIES
The college provides a tranquil academic ambience sprawling in a 25-acre lush green campus with a plinth area of 31,263.62 Sq. Mtrs. At Pragati Engineering College (PEC), utmost importance is given to the teaching-learning process. The Institution boasts state-of-the-art classrooms equipped with modern amenities to facilitate effective learning. The classrooms are spacious, well-ventilated, and furnished with comfortable seating arrangements, providing students with a conducive environment for learning. The institution also maintains well-equipped laboratories for various disciplines, enabling students to gain hands-on practical knowledge and develop their skills.
- With four academic blocks housing, The Institute has sufficient 70 classrooms with furniture as per AICTE norms for accomplishing academic activities. All classrooms are equipped with adequate lighting and well ventilation, LCD Projectors, Wi-Fi, Fans, Lights, and Glass board.
- Each department has a HoD room, meeting room and department library.
- 2 seminar halls, 1 conference hall, and 1 mini conference hall are equipped with LCD Projector with white board facility, Wi-Fi, Audio and Video facilities for guest lectures, conferences, FDPs. Each seminar hall has a seating capacity of 200.
- 2 drawings halls, 1 workshop, and 61 laboratories are provided with necessary equipment conforming to the syllabi. All laboratories are equipped with state-of-the-art technologies. Each laboratory is provided with necessary display boards and adequate safety measures.
- One open-air stage which can accommodate 2000 people is available for conducting cultural and extra-curricular activities.
- Central Library is provided with an area of 2797.96 Sq. Mtrs., has a seating capacity of 300. The digital library is equipped with 25 PCs connected with Wi-Fi. Library is fully automated for effective library management and consists of 53216 Volumes and 928 E-Journals.
- Library Network Membership is available with DELNET, INFLIBNET, National Digital Library.
- Video Conferencing Room is equipped with LCD Projector, Wi-Fi, Audio and Video facilities for effective Teaching learning process.
- Examination cell with exclusive high speed internet facility, xerox machines along with adequate stationary required for the conduct of internal and external examinations is available.
- Training and Placement Cell with essential infrastructure is offered for carrying training and placement activity.
- The Institution encourages sports activities as it makes the students physically fit, active, healthy, and mentally strong and contributes for the personality development of the youth. Students are provided with a Gymnasium, and Indoor & Outdoor games.
- The playground hosts games such as cricket, football, hand ball and kho-kho. The playground has nets for cricket practice.
To enhance the teaching-learning process, the Institution has implemented ICT-enabled facilities such as smart classrooms and a Learning Management System (LMS). The Pragati e-learning portal LMS serves as a comprehensive online platform where students have provision to access course materials, submit assignments, participate in discussion forums, and interact with faculty members, fostering a collaborative learning environment. The college also provides access to e-books, digital libraries, and online journals, ensuring that students have access to a vast repository of knowledge.
