The National Cadet Corps (NCC) is a youth organisation that aims to instil discipline and patriotism in its members. It is open to Indian citizens aged between 16 and 24, and is divided into three wings: the Army, Navy and Air Force. NCC cadets undergo training in various aspects of military life, such as drill, parade ground movements and weapon handling. They also take part in various community service activities and adventure sports. The NCC provides an excellent platform for young people to develop leadership skills and a sense of responsibility.

Pragati provides the facility for the students to join NCC(National Cadet Corps) to enable themselves, building good discipline,citizenship, good character, sound body, sound mind, courage and service motto which are very essential for a nice personality. NCC also provides good platform for the students to join the Armed Forces: the Indian Army, the Indian Air Force and the Indian Navy.

The NCC ARMY wing was sanctioned by the Unit 18(A) BN, Kakinada for both the SENIOR DIVISION (boys) and SENIOR WOMAN(girls). The total strength of cadets for both boys and girls is 100.

Our NCC cadets from IV B.Tech have been selected for NIC (National Integration Camp), All India Camp at NIT-Warangal, from 13th to 22nd November,2017. The Cadets from all the states of India attended for the Integration Training

Our NCC wing organized a Guest Lecture for students on ‘How to join Indian Army & Appearing for SSB Interview of 6 days’ by Col.Monish Gaur, Commanding Officer, NCC 18(A) BN, Kakinada on 25th July, 2017. And ‘Principal and ANO’s Conference for senior division NCC was organized in the college campus
