About Training & Placement Officer

Mr. Vamsi Kiran Somayajula, is with the college since 2002. He assumed the office of Training & Placement Officer in Jan 2006 and since then striving extensively for providing various career avenues for students of the college. Some of his achievements/recognitions include

  • Accreditation by Tata Consultancy Services.
  • Signing of MoUs with TCS, Infosys, Mission R&D, IUCEE, etc
  • Organized the Infosys’s – Faculty Enablement Programme (FEP) which was conducted outside Infosys, for first time.
  • Awarded with Best Teacher Award by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Kakinada (JNTUK), Kakinada for the year 2010.
  • Panel Member for Confederation of Indian Industry (CII)
  • - on Education for 2016-17,2015-16 – Southern Region
    – on Skill Development, for 2016-17 – Andhra Pradesh
    – on Employability, for 2015-16 – Andhra Pradesh
    – on Higher Education, for 2014-15 – Andhra Pradesh
    – on Education and Skill Development, for 2012-13, 2013-14 – Andhra PradeshHe did his schooling from the prestigious Sainik School Korukonda, Graduation (B.Com) from Andhra University, Post-Graduation (MBA) from University of Madras and M.Phil from Alagappa University, Karaikudi. He has 3 publications to his credit. He is also the participant of National Rifle Shooting Championship in the year 1997. He is a firm believer of slogan – “If you Sweat More in Peace, You Will Bleed Less in War”.
